Why phone photos win for singles
The buyer sees the exact card they're getting — its centering, its edges, its shine — not a stock photo of a card that looks like it. For condition-sensitive singles, honest photos beat perfect scans.
The sitting
Fifty cards. Front, back, front, back. Same light, same angle, no filters. Then straight into my listing flow (I run scanning, comps, and pullsheets through Card Price King) and out to the store.
The real rule
Everybody waits for the perfect setup before they start listing. Don't. Gear doesn't list cards — consistency does. Fifty cards, one phone, one sitting, repeat. That's how a store of thousands of listings gets built around a day job and a family.
